Applications are invited from male Indian citizens for appointment  in Border Security Force, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India :

1. SI (Master)

  • Number of posts : 13 Posts
  • Pay: PB-2 + GP Rs. 4200
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  2. 1st Class Master Certificate Issued by the Central of State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine department.

2. SI (Engine Driver)

  • Number of posts : 13 Posts
  • Pay: PB-2 + GP Rs. 4200
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Bachelors Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
  2. 1st Class Engine Driver Certificate Issued by the Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile Marine Department.

3. HC (Master)

  • Number of posts : 117 Posts
  • Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.
  2. Serang Certificate.
  3. One year experience in the trade from a recognized Institution/ establishment.

4. HC (Engine Driver)

  • Number of posts : 56 Posts
  • Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.
  2. Possessing IInd Class Engine Driver Certificate.
  3. One year experience in the trade.

5. HC (Workshop)

  • Number of posts : 19 Posts
  • Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2400
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.
  2. Industrial training instituted Diploma in diesel Engine/ Machinist/ Welder/ Machine Shop/ Carpentry/ Electrician/ Fitter/ Turner from recognized institution.
  3. One year experience in the trade.

6. CT (Crew)

  • Number of posts : 71 Posts
  • Pay: PB-1 + GP Rs. 2000
  • Age: 20-25 years

Qualification:

  1. Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.
  2. Two years experience in operating of Boat below 265 HP as a Sukhani or Greaser.

Last Date : 30 days from 01.05.2010 i.e. up to 31.05.2010 (45 days in case of candidates from far_flung areas)
